I love a good read…but I am VERY selective. I prefer non-fiction, but do have a few favorites where fiction is concerned. Fun fact: I worked in the school library in grade school & wanted to be the librarian…turns out the job market for librarians is not as hot as for teachers, hence my education degree.
As I learn how to format my website, The Library will change in appearance from time to time. In the meantime, here are the books that top my fave’s list:
Children’s Reading:
- “Indescribable” & “How Great is Our God”, by Louie Giglio
- “Hank the Cowdog” series (76 right now!), by John R. Erickson
- “Dr. Seuss” (do your homework…there are TONS), by Theodore Seuss Geisel
- “Wild Child”, by Jeanne Willis
Adult Reading:
- The Bible, (version faves are the CJB, NLT, AMP, OJB)
- “Story Craft”, by John R. Erickson
- “This Present Darkness”, “Piercing the Darkness”, “Prophet”, “The Oath”, “The Visitation”, “Monsters”, by Frank E. Peretti
- “In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day”, by Mark Batterson
- “In Praise of Wasting Time”, by Alan Lightman
- “Lessons from Madame Chic”, “At Home with Madame Chic”, & “Polish Your Poise with Madame Chic”, by Jennifer L. Scott

Check back often to see what else makes the cut!
